I don't know what it is, nothing beats 3D stereoscopic gaming for me. I only use immersive screen mode and I just don't care for Full VR mode either, even games made for VR on this matter. I guess my beef is it's 3D support, I have no interest in the other settings such as Z3D or the other fake 3D, it's just not good and would rather play 2D when considering these other modes. It uses a thing called Edge Peak, but is fixed and limitedģ.) Many game profiles while considered official, have broken shaders Vorpx is my second choice and has short comings compared to Helixvision suchġ.) Lack of stronger 3D convergence settings (3D strength) it's cappedĢ.) Multiple 3D strength settings. I have over 140+ games working in Helixvision and have been loving it. You don't miss a lot of subtle details in games. Especially on a HP G2, the fidelity is incredible since you can adjust the screen size, curvature etc. Not everyone has the patience or desire to do these extra steps., but if things work, boy does it shine. The caveat with those other games is it requires a lot of tinkering, maybe some modding, ini tweaks or other trial and error to get things to work. The games that are on the curated list pretty much work out of the box so to speak but I have managed to get several others to work when in hacker mode. I use both and Helixvision will always be my first choice when playing non VR games in stereoscopic 3D.
